What is the best audio format? WAV, or WMA lossless?

Okay so Ive been reading around a little bit and someone finally told me that MP3 is some junk compared to WMA lossless and WAV. Apparently with mp3 your always getting compressed music but with WAV you get full uncompressed music but the songs are like 50-60MB each! With WMA lossless I believe its the same thing maybe a little less.

100% of the 5k sounds or so that I have on my comp are mp3's ranging from 128kb to 320....now someone told me the difference between 320kb and wma lossless and WAV isnt THAT big but I would like to really know. Considering the fact that im not going to go out to the store and buy everyones CD and then trasnfer it over to WAV, how would I go about getting a few selected songs over to WMA lossless or WAV?

Any input would be great. Thanks!

kris

WAV will sound best because it is not compressed format.

But with WAV you lose the merit of having hundreds of songs in one cd.

(edit) And you won't hear any difference between 320k mp3, wma lossless and wav in a car anyway.
