My audiobahn puts out 1,000,000 RMS with the gains all the way down...to 6 channels...the chrome makes power... werd...diggity... 10,000 is for n00bs...

Ok I'm just playing sorry... that was ALL sarcasm... except for the chrome thing, that's true.... ok, no, it's not:thumbsup:

any recent pictures of the install?

9000amps is quite the ****ing current. would fry you to a crisp.

so how did they get ~4,500 amps to each amp? each alt looks to have 1\0 running. the terminal inside the JBL has to be like -5guage wire... like 2" thick (not including insulation), how the hell did they get it to the amps???

that truck has to be nasty as hell. how many dbs on the new TL?

i wonder if 5 18" soloX's or 2 parthenons would be louder - i bet the parthenons would be able to burp two of those jbl amps.

i wanna see that... in a school bus- 2 parthenons + 2 jbl6000gti + 15 600a alternators + 20 yellow tops and all the windows covered in metal, the inside totally boxxed\ported with a wall with the 2 parthenons shaped like this

and the two subs on the top and bottom slant.

i dont suppose that will ever happen though... ~$6000x2 = parthenon after custom order, $300(maybe?)x15 = alternators, ~$120x20 = yellowtops, $1~5000(no price yet?)x2 = jbl crown + bus + wires + material\misc = a loud *** vehicle.

what do you think the ultimate setup would be?

Old School Amps:

RF

Orion HCCA

Zapco Reference/Competion

PPI Art Series

And my personal favorite: the

"PG MPH 6300"

From the Phoenix Gold Archives:

"The MPH6300 is literally a one of a kind amplifier. In fact, there is only one ever made. This amplifier has set the standard of unsurpassed quality that Phoenix Gold amplifiers are known for. The amplifier itself is a hand built six-channel amplifier that uses only the finest audiophile components available on the earth. The switching power supplies are fully copper shielded and isolated from the audio circuits, not to mention the shields are plated with 50 microns of gold to protect from corrosion. All 24 of the 250 watt/50 amp output transistors have been "gain matched" Mil Spec T0-3 power devices. All 18 of the 250 watt/70 amp Mosfet Switchers are "gain and beta matched" Mil Spec TO-3 power devices. It also features a discrete full complementary output design. The amplifier also includes an independent 3 band parametric equalizer. This all adds up to an amplifier that weighs 115 lbs. and has a legendary reputation."

"The MPH6300 is not for sale, it’s a one of a kind collector's item. However, it does have a retail price of $99,000."

Take a look @ my avatar (made in the USA, and the quality was made by PG way back in the 90's)
