That's the way a lot of manufacturers do it.......make one big amp by "stapping" two smaller amps. Tru Technology Sledgehammer, Zapco 4KW, etc etc.

Thats because they're too lazy and cheap to come up with new stuff.

I would have to say lanzar makes the best...cough...cough. They make this 90 watt max amp. 45 rms x4 channels, let me tell you, wired to 2 18" XXX's, the thing knocks.

Some of the best made amplifiers that I've ever seen. Old school technology and no chrome, flames, or any unneccessary crap. Only problem is that they cost you two arms and two legs.

He said "best", not "most powerful" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Without getting into amplifier sonics; It is a high-bias class A design, so the first 25w are pure class A operation (becoming a rarity), and it actually has a dash-board mounted switch where you can override the class A operation and force it into class B operation (to make it easier on your electrical system).
