What is the benefit?

I know what the difference between series and parrallel are but what is the difference in the sound quality and does one have a benefit over the other? Could someone please explain this to me. thanks.

Ther is no difference in sound quality, it is simply two ways to wire you voice coils on a sub to match your amps impedence requirements.
