so with the v12 alpine 1000.1 what will be good?there is no better or worse performance wise..it just depends on what kind of amp you have.some amps put out 1000 watts at 1ohm some at 2ohm so it just gives you more wiring options..
the amp is fine you just have to get a sub that is compatible ohm wise..i cant remember exzactly at what ohms that amp is stable too..really there wont be a too much of a difference but if you plan on upgrading in the near future and have the space why not go with the 18''so with the v12 alpine 1000.1 what will be good?and also which one will be louder on15'' btl or one 18'' btl with the same amp?
i will go with a bigger amp later on in about 6 months but for know i will be using this alpine

death for most amps when you try to run the dual 1 ohm parallel!what is the difference between dual 1 ohm and dual 2ohm

Far from accurate.
Ohm's law is not multiplying and dividing.
For wiring in series: Rt = R1 + R2 + R3 .... etc.
For wiring in parallel 1/Rt = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 ...etc.
