what is better? mtx 6000 or Xtant A series 1244 duel voice coil

i have two 12' subs in a box and i was told that mixing subs is a bad thing to do but i was also told that these 2 subs (the mtx 6000 and Xtant A series 1244 duel voice coil) are practicly the same thing and that it wouldnt heart it to mix them in one box.

Is this correct? or should i go and get a matching sub, and if so what kind?

if i were you i would get 2 matching subs. sometimes two different kind of subs can cancel the other sub out. i would go with xtant, ihave never heard their products but i have heard mtx and from opinions i have heard xtant is pretty good. plus it will look so much better with the same subs.
