What is a great SQ sub in the 300 - 500W range? Image Dynamics? Elemental Designs?

Hey Guys,

Can you tell what would be a great SQ sub in the 10" - 12" sizes that would fit a sealed box at 0.65 cu. ft?

So far my contenders are:

- Image Dyamics IDQ12

- Elemental Designs 11Ov.2

Does any know what the impedance is of the Ov.2? And does anyone know it's recommended sealed box volume? Is eD and ID really the same company? I thought I have heard that before. Okay let me put it like this I HATE JL!,but the W6 is one killer sub to say the least,it is the only JL product I would buy...So I would have to say that a 10,12,or 13.5 W6 is right up ur ally

I'm not a huge fan, but they make great speakers, just over-priced.

lol im not quite sure what you are tryin to say here, but you do know that the arc sub you posted is a tweaked version of the IDQ and ID is arc audio's buildhouse?

as far as small enclosure and power requirements go? the idq takes the cake so far. ive had a tempest (a 15" shiva), ive had several idq's and the idq's by far, were better than the tempest\shiva. ive not heard a w6 but they are exponentionally more expensive than the IDQ and there is not much of a performace upgrade between the two from what i understand. the w6 has a bit more excursion, but thats about it. sides, my IDQ15's sound amazing freeair, and thats by far my most favorite enclosure style now.

guy, if you have 300w RMS and somewhere you can hang an IDQ in your decklid. i highly suggest it. its very musical and extremly economical.
