What high-end components do you guys recommend?

I love the Dls UP6's I just got, they whoop *** on the diamond hexes they replaced. I wrote a product review on them on this forum. Fantastic midbass, smooth tweeter, fantastic imaging. The shit=Dls speakers. You can get them for around $350.

I'd be interested to read a comparo between yours and some Dls UP6's. Yours would have to be freeking amazing to be better IMO.

well they beat out a set of Z6's dont know how much more amazing they'd need to be... whenever i get another job i'll have a set to compare against my iridiums

I'd like to hear iridiums for myself, though I just don't think they would be a good fit for me (that paper woofer scares me in a door in the Pacific Northwest!)

I'm currently using Canton QS 2.16, much better in midrange clarity, tweeter smoothness, detail and midbass compared to the Focal 165V2's and Alpine SPX-177A's I had before. Superb speakers around the $400 - $500 range.
