What's up guys,

I've been told that ported boxes are louder so i went ahead and threw my 12 L7's in a ported box and it was pretty loud, but somehow I still wasn't satisfied so I blocked the ports with a piece of wood screwed in the box and now my box is sealed and it sounds sooooooo much louder when the bass hits my rearview mirror goes down instantly and with the ported it would go down slowly....

well prefab boxes are gonna sound crappy. build yourself a nice big ported box and they will slam.

lawl. prowler you crack me up. lol. but hey, if you like it sealed now, then keep it that way. it's your preference. eventually you may wanna try ported and i'm sure you won't be disappointed.

It is always better to have a box built or build it yourself. Prefab boxes arent worth the crap, you may have saved some money buying a prefab, but now you are still going to have a box built, unless you are satisfied with the sound now that you have covered the port:eyebrow: .
