Today I was driving home, when I stop at a red light and all the sudden my stereo and amps turn off for about a second. What do you guys think happen? Theres been times when my sub amp turns off for two seconds, but this time everything turned off. Please help.

u might need one....another option is your wire is to small....give us some info on what size wire, the amp, size of current alt.....etc
I have a stock alt. on my 2001 honda accord EX.

Diamond Audio HEXS600s

Im running 0 gauge wire

but I think my negative might not be making a good connection since I have it connected to the trunk floor. It lookes like very thin sheet metal when I drilled the hole it whent right through really quick.

i would say tighten ur + and - terminals on ur battery, my car did that a few times, cut off right at a red light one time, the whole car that is, I got out wiggled the wire started right up..but it also could be a voltage drop if ur alt isn't powerfull enough..

Do u YOu have Dimmage??
