i finally made up my mind and am gunna be running 4 RE8's. gunna run them at 2 ohms, and was wondering what guage to get? i already have 12 guage, should i keep all the wire inside the box 12 guage also, or can i go smaller? i will be doin about 600 rms

well now i have another question. how am i supposed to crimp together two 12 guage wires? cause the RE8's only have male disconnects on the voice coil, do i need to buy like 8 gauge female disconnects so i can fit both wires in? or is there another way to continue with the wire. sorry, never connected multiple subs

you could pick up a package of these --

Or you could just use a 10ga female quick disconnects at the sub terminals. You should be able to crimp two 12 ga wires, one in, one out.

From amp to terminal, terminal to sub, 14 AWG will be fine. I use 16AWG in most applications.

However, from battery to amp, you should run 8-4 AWG minimum.
