ok imma try that when i reground it. but that couldnt be what it is could it? cuz when i ran rcas from a diff car that had a working system in it, this kept making the noise. even with the regrounding hu, that couldnt be it either then?

Its a possibility it could jast have a loose connection or its near some metal. That is just what i experienced. Yesterday. I didnt know i could get and engine whine like that. Also if u r using an aux cable try replacing that or disconnecting it and try

Well its doing it now with the Kenwood in, just tried the pioneer to see if it was the hu.

lright, I tried regrounding it but I knew it still wasn't grounds cuz if you'd touch the power and ground together it wouldn't spark. So I touched the power around a bit and found someplace that would spark. Turned out to be 2 random bolts that stick up so I just wrapped some 8 gauge around em and it works. Here's the ground that is directly to frame, grounded down.

And this is what ended up working. Not sure why.

It could be your alt is bout to take a crap on you, if it only does it when the car is running. I would try taking a meter to it. Just a suggestion
