What gets louder a Fi Q or a Fi BL?

I had both, and imho the Q is the better overall driver. It killed the lows better, and I didnt notice a dif in output to the ear. Im sure on a meter it would probably be louder tho

If you only have 1500wrms on tap then there would be no point in getting any options, the stock would be just fine. If you plan on upgrading your amp to over 2k then you should get the cooling option and the extra spider.

If you are going sealed then get the High QTS option, if you are going ported or unsure then stick with the Low QTS option.

The internal lead is unnecessary according to one of the people that used to work at Fi.

Also I would get the Q over the BL most definitely, unless you are looking to compete.

Thanks everyone! I will just get the stock Fi Q then. Will 6ft3 work tuned at 32hz? Or should I tune lower? Box will be made with 1" MDF, 2" front baffle, and braced well.

How many square inches for the port so theres no port noise?
From FI

Q 18 – We recommend using a sealed box in the range of 4-8 cubic feet of volume.

Ported box we recommend using 6-10 cubic feet @ 28hz tuning, you can tune a little higher if you wish but we recommend keeping it under 32hz. Again the same 12-16 square inches of vent area applies per one cubic foot of volume.
