What gains will i recieve?

Hey guys im new here and new to car audio in general but it looks like there are some very reputable sources here and I'm full of questions lol. This one is on batteries. I put in a small system after xmas this year, 2 10" premiers, on a 500 watt kenwood mono amp and a small 2x50 for the front kenwoods i put in. Question is, I had the batt. checked and and the guy told me its was at the end of its life span. It's a little small too. Stock everything under the hood on a 01 ford escape and most likely getting a red top at auto zone. I've got major dimming at about 75% volume with only 600 total watts. Will this new batt. help me much, or do i need to get a new alt. and cap? I'm going to do the big three in a few weekends as well. Thanks a bunch

How much do they usually run and wheres the best place to find them? Replacing the batt. wont help me till i get a better alt?

a bigger battery will help but if you dont have an alt big enough to keep it charged in the long run you will have the same problem.

dont get a red top though if you get optima get a yellow top

I was looking at some places and in the 70 to 115 price rang i can get a 105 amp alternator, If the car uses around 30 of that and leaves me 70, can i run two amps totaling around 1200 watts rms? New yellow top batt. and big three upgrade? thanx
