Ok i had 2 kicker 12inch L7's dual 4ohm 2003 model in a sealed box Pushed By An MTX 81000d and only pulled a 145db's on the dash .......

Now i want more i want 150 db's ..... so i got 2 new 2004 model kicker 12 inch dual 2 ohm L7's in a sealed box and need an amp two replce my mtx 81000d what will work

#1. Kicker KX 1200.1 (2003 model) with 1440 rms birth sheet

#2. kicker KX 1200.1 (2004 model)

#3. JL Audio 1000/1

#4. JBL 1200.1

#5. Kicker SX 1250.1

I'm Leaning towards Kickers SX 1250.1 Cause it looks great and kicker says it out does the 1200.1 they faxed me a birth sheet of 1525 rms @1 ohm

Kicker KX 1200.1 perhaps two of those ? i dunno if the sub will take it....if i were you id just port the ***** but whatever.

Anyways, I would just go with the highest power amp of those listed. Don't get the JL, the regulated output ***** IMO (I don't like the feature).

If you want to hit 150 I'd go with 2 of those amps, one per woofer, or u can just get the highest powered of the bunch. Hitting 150 is gonna be very hard if you hit 145 before and you haven't really changed anything.

The 04 subs probably won't add 5 db on their own so you are either gonna have to redesign your box, add lots of power, get more of a power source etc.

i mean it's the really hard way of doing things...150 on the new mics is a tough score, even with a ported enclosure. Id go with the Hifonics BX1500D... thats what im going to run... your subs can only handle 750 watts rms... so a burp will be up there a little more ways... the Hifonics 1500 will actualy put out around 1600 or more.... Kicker rates thier amps with high levels of input. I do like the company though.
