what freq damages subs

Good day, I would like to know what frequency damages a sub the quickest? Low hz or high hz......does low hz damage the mechanical part of the sub quicker? Does high hz damage the electrical part of the sub quicker?...or is it vice versa?.....and is low frequencies more brutal then high frequencies (does it feel more intense inside and outside the car/truck) ?

Any frequency can damage the sub if you reach it's limits. A common one among noobs is to ruin them at low frequencies because they don't have proper filters and the driver unloads, which would be mostly physical damage to kinda answer your question. But they can blow at any frequency, depending on what you're doing.

So all in all...low freq has more affect on mech problems....and high freq is to do with electrical probs(causes of coil over heating I think)
Eh, sure. Either can do it, its just the majority blow that^ way from user error.

as long as the gain are set correctly and you are not over powering much you should blow it, as far as mechnicaly killing a woofer is whats stated above, playing below tuning causing the sub to bottom out (same can be done in too large of a sealed box) that or something shifting in the trunk and hitting the sub while playing, that ***** ***** up in a hurry
