what eq preset do you use?

When you listen to rap, what preset do you use. I know everyones hu is different but there is like extra bass, vocal, flat, and a couple of others on most head units now days. I have been using vocal for rap for about a year now and finally decided to go to extra bass and my type r's hit so much harder without turning the bass boost up at all. Am i the only one who used vocal because i really feel dumb because now i understand why my subs were sounding so underpowered.

i am pretty sure that "xtra bass" ups the pre-amp outputs therefor your amp puts out more power.... I always use the custom or flat eq presets.

i dunno what mine is at. im pretty sure its on flat tho. usually doesnt affect the subs that much unless you turn the bass up, which you usually want it on 0, but subwoofer level if u have it on max

can you guys adjust your bass levels without bass boosting on your hu? I can't do that on mine. So im guessing you just put it on custom and turn your bass levels to like +15 right when you want loud bass?

Therefore when you change to "Xtra bass" EQ setting, its the same thing.

Custom1 for SQ and Custom2 for SQL...don't use any of the preset ones.
