A question for Mark of Mach 5

Mach 5 is one of my favorite companies on the market, and I love having watched it grow from nothing to what it is now. My favorite thing about Mach 5 is that you take the customer's input and build upon it. People wanted something beefier than the MAW line, so you put the IXL line out. People wanted an SPL moofer, so you put out the SPL 12, and when people demanded you make a 15, you did.

My question is, why the end of the MAW line? Do you plan on releasing a new-and-improved entry-level line? The previous MAWs were good enough as-is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

We all miss the MAW line and wonder what you've got in store.

I felt the MAW line had run its course. They were out for two years running, and by the end I was getting requests for something that offered more. The IXL-18 was out and it made a nice splash in the home theatre Infinite Baffle world. It was a logical decision to continue with IXL.

Unfortunately, I simply cannot continue to fund and stock multiple lines on a continual basis. That also played a part in it. With supply parts increasing in price almost monthly, it is difficult to keep a budget driver line "budget".

I must add, it would, imo get old hearing the customer requesting something, its brought out, and then 95% of the people that said "build it, and ill buy it" back out. that gets old, and i cannot imagine a single person, doing this as a hobby really, keeping releasing such things!
