On a serious note, companies are not obligated to hire anyone. Having a job is not a right. If a company doesn't want to hire people that do drugs they have that right. So that makes the above audioholic statement useless. If you want to smoke weed and work, then work somewhere that doesn't do random drug testing, there's plenty of places out there.

I dont think I could sound this ignorant if I tried. I suppose if im an employer I dont have to hire Mexicans or Arabs if I dont want to either? FYI the government would like random drug testing at every place of employment so pretty soon finding a job that dosnt drug test will be impossible.

It's illegal not to hire someone solely based on their race, gender, or age. If someone chooses not to hire someone because they do drugs they are free to do so. They are trying to get the best people for the job. They have to invest money into their employees so if they are looking for people who don't do drugs they are free to do so. Discrimination is discrimination no matter how you look at it. If I o home and smoke a joint after work to help relax or to ease my aches and pains what business does my emoyer have to tell me what I can and can not do off the clock. Showing up to work high is one thing your employer should be able to terminate an employee who comes to work under the influence but thats is all they should be able to say about te matter. Weather I go home to pray to ala or smoke a joint it's no one business but my own. The effects of marijuana ware off within a few hours your employer can fire you for showing up drunk but not for havin a beer after work. Real drugs are a different story coke meth heroin all have long lasting effects unlike marijuana.

I remember why it was started. That dumbass didn't check the door when someone knocked and just said come in. If his friend didn't use a cc that was reported stolen it wouldn't have been an issue. Like I said, the police don't just randomly come into your house for no reason. If you just sit and your house and do your thing and don't draw attention to yourself you're fine. I know plenty of people who smoke weed and have never been caught.
