One of the benefits of working at Circuit City is the occasional deals we may get...

As per my signature, you may notice that I have an Alpine 9815.

Well, a few weeks back we acquired a repaired Alpine 7998. Someone returned it, somewhere, and had it sent in for repair. They exchanged it out for a new radio, and we got back the repaired Alpine. Looks as if they put a whole new mechanism/faceplate on it, because it is absolutely flawless.

Anyway, this was priced at $619, used. Pretty outrageous. So, it was dropped to $499, still rather high.

Talked to my manager, dropped it to $200. Got a co-worker to buy my 9815 on the spot for $150, paid $50 out of pocket for a mint condition Alpine 7998 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You can buy an interface for the phone through Alpine...it's illogical IMO.
