What does 145 DB's feel like?

don't worry about it. Just run and get a starting point.
The lower the note, the more physical stuff you see. When I do a full power sweep: at higher frequencies, mirrors and eyeballs dance, as it come down the side mirrors shake, toll-tag falls off, front window seal starts to flex, then nearer the low notes..the whole car threatens to self-destruct with body flexing window movement, you can't breathe, etc.
pretty much all of what he said.

I do 146.6 on a TL with my daily driver, and it's not loud enough. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I like it, 'cause it tickles. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

yeah i hit about 144.5 with my 3 12's on full volume (50)...but after i got my 4 channel installed i can only go up to about 36 on volume then it gets you know..like the amp needs more power...have not got it metered with 4 channel in there...but difinitely lower than 144.5...but yeah 145 is insanely loud..like jet engine...dang 4 channel...but least i got sound quality..wonder if i can shut off my 4 channel from my HU?? humm..prolly not and just run my dashes hooked up to HU and my subs....my friend has some i believe they were memphis just 2 15's doing about 145...his roof..mirrors..glass all around..was shaking and vibrating...good stuff..oh well...i like this thread..its going strong

youll get used to just about every pressure to about 155. then, it takes AWHILE for you to say "thats not loud."

but then, however, youre starting to really, really go deaf. for real.the first +140db system i ever heard was fukudas blazer, around 1987.

I have well hard to explain..the sub goes in and out like a mofo..whats that called..i know its excusion..but no sound...the sub playing like 20hz song tunes or what??..how come there is no sound and the sub goes to its max excusion looks like 2 or 3 inches in and out

..wonder if i can shut off my 4 channel from my HU??
You can easily put an in-line switch on your remote or power cable to the 4ch amp. This way you can turn it off when you go get metered. Thats what i've done to my 4ch amp. This way my sub amp gets full power. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I just used a toggle switch from autozone. Their like $3. You just switch it on/off. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
