Shrink your sealed chambers to bring it down to 4 net, imo. 4th orders aren't worth the hassle until you start getting close to a 1:3 ratio.

It needs to be musical. How will a 1:3 affect that?

Higher ratios are more efficient but peakier. If you're looking for a flat musical response, a 4th isn't going to give you that unless you do some serious tuning. A 1:3 will still be plenty musical, but you'll have more of a dip in volume around 60-100hz than you would with another box. It will get damn loud, though.

Any rules on mounting subs? I have mine setup like the photo above. 2 sets mounted parallel and opposite each other. I shouldn't have any issues with cancellation right?

No cancellation because everything is inside the box. They work together like 1 piston. just as long as each one gets the exact same signal (like don't run them stereo).
