Ok, im sure you guys have answered this question a million times, but here it goes...
I have a 96 integra and Im thinking about upgrading the sound system. Right now i have a Pioneer cda-7852r deck, rated at 160w. The speakers i have are stock, and they sound decent for for stock speakers, but i think im ready to go a step beyond that. Im looking for a configuration that will give me clear highs and deep smooth bass. I'd like to avoid getting subs if i can. It's just too much hassel having to worry about getting them stolen where i live. Thats why i was hoping someone might know a way i can get pretty strong bass will only 6x9s. Let me know what you guys think I should do, and suggest some good speakers for me. Also, i dont know much about how much power the speakers need to sound good....so do i need an amp, and if so what kind should i get? Im sure some of you have had experiences, good or bad with different setups and i was hoping you could help me out before i go and spend money. THanks
