My point was relative to the the last 15 years as indicated in my first post. If you look at major accomplishments for each party your assumptions are wrong.that's pretty selective faulkton. are you saying that the democrats don't propose/support large government programs? they do, at least in relativity to the repubs, who spend the same amount in different areas to be sure. never looked at those $ numbers. that may be interesting. i wasn't speaking specifically about hillary either, i was speaking about the party as a whole. her health care program proposal would be massive. being that the bush administration went to war with her support, it's hard for her to flip flop now. even though she has tried. her husband's intelligence on iraq also played a role.
i did miss that. i was speaking in ideology as a whole. the current administration has been terrible. completley against conservative views. that's why the pendulum has swung towards the democrats. My point was relative to the the last 15 years as indicated in my first post. The last democratic administration ended the 40 year old American welfare system as an entitlement program and left office with a balanced budget and a surplus.
The current republican administration gave us the biggest expansion of a government health care program in decades, Medicare part D, and will leave office borrowing more from foreign nations than all the previous administrations combined.
The current republican administration has been weak, to say the least, in regards to immigration control.
My initial post should have been clear in limiting this discussion to current political parties and excluding political ideology in general. Sorry if you missed that.

F*ck socialized medicine.
I will vote for whoever affects my paycheck the least. That is all.
it would be sooo expensive, but so worth it.x2
Ill support the first candidate that promises to instate drug testing for anyone on federal aid...
Well, England and France are better models.http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/26/international/americas/26canada.html
Looks like social medicine is working great in Canada... It's hard to get treated for an extreme, possibly death causing illness when you are waiting behind someone with the sniffles..
Not much. I don't think two families should control a world power for 20 years thank you.How different do you think your opinion would be Hillary had the exact stance on the same issues, but was male instead?
