When could we purchase one? Would it be lower distortion than the original soft parts?

Past the limits of the original parts, yes it would.

I know that we don't have a good coil for the XXX -- but someone like David Moore could do the whole thing for you with our parts & a frame.

Yes, his super shallow woofer. It's on the back-burner but we'll bring it out at some point =)
