What do you think of the hybrid cars? are they worth the $.

I saw the large fleet of hybrid tahoes at the gas station yesterday. They werent bad looking although I cant comment on the price difference or mileage difference.

Well. Hybrids are Alright but when it comes to the electric ones....It's ridiculous might as well put a 502 in a truck & drive 1000 miles & back the gas you used would probably be lower then your electric bull

Probably to those large SUV owners who wish it didn't cost them $150 to fill up every week.

20 mpg for a 50k hybrid is a bad choice

I read an article in a car mag at doctors office a few years ago, and the did a comparison of the Honda Civic and the civic hybrid. They considered all regular maintenence and it turns out you would need to own the Hybrid for 10 years before it would actually save money against a regular Civic. Wish i could remember the mag. it was in im sure you could google it somehow.
