what do you think of powerbass subwoofers?

are you running the amp at .5 ohms or 2? if 2 then yeah it will sound a lot better if .5 how often does the amp shut down?

They are 45 dollar subs. We just mess with them because it seems we can't blow them.

there not bad. my friend has one of the higher line of them and they get pretty loud.

judging by your equipment you get your stuff from a shop you who gets their stuff from dragon. Am i correct?

anyway the since you already have 1 of the 4000d amps one more would be cheaper however if you have a little money to spare maybe try to get a pair of powerbass asa1500d amps, strap them and run at 2 ohms. i have one of those amps and i have been very impressed by it. i also use to run a us xt2000d on the same sub and this pb amp really made the sub come alive

A friend of mine bought two 10's extreme's used and has had them: it seems like for ever

and they catch heak every day and as far as I know he has had no problems...I want to say he gave like 50 bucks for both of them lol

I had a Black series 12 for close to 3 years that was powered by a Kicker KX400.1 at 2 ohm. Loved it. My friend borrowed it while his shit was being warranted by Harmon Kardon, and someone messed with the amp (I told him it was set where it should be, and he doesn't trust anyone else with his stereo, so yeah, I know it wasn't him) and turned the gain up all the way, the Bass Boost on the amp all the way, and turned the crossover up to like 150hz. It died a painful death, I took it apart yesterday (which I've been meaning to do for a while now) and it's black all the way down on the outside coil except for the very bottom, which is still partially copper.

It took that power and abuse for a week, according to Wabi. Not bad for a sub that I paid 30 shipped for.

since you get your stuff through them and pay x amount instead of y amount i would say most def step up to a pair of the asa1500's you wont regret it. my buddy had 2 pairs of just the xl 15"s on a pair strapped and it was pretty impressive especially when you look at it from an x amount view

also with your electrical i would possibly consider getting maybe one more battery. my buddy had a pair of the hawker 2150's in the rear and a smaller hawker up front and it was pretty solid. he also had an asa600.4 in there too
