Affirmative Action.

They aren't lowering their standards because the minority is dumber and they have to, it is SOLELY because they want to 'even up' the racial differences. It only has to do with who is in the majority, and who is in the minority.

I am actually looking into applying at NC A&T for a minority scholarship (90-95% of the school is african-american). My friend got one and he got a full ride for engineering in the 3rd best school in the state. And it wasn't because he was 'intellectually inferior'.

Affirmative action is pointless because minorities are not equal to whites so government is forcing them to be equal. Lynden Johnson really dropped the ball on this one.

im a soph at state and was accepted with only a 1750 SAT, but i also scored a 780 on the math section. There are smart and dumb people here so your chances are as good as anyones. A decent trick is to apply to a college that is less popular. My first year, they had a few colleges that did not fill up, so some of my less smart friends got in...
