On the brighter side of things with all the smart kids going back to school I have seen help wanted signs back up at pretty much all the fast food places so at least you will be able to find some employment.

are you trying to go to state this semester???

or are u going for ur senior year this coming year???

im assuming since u didnt post ur gpa for senior year u are graduating '09.

my advice to you:

1) take an SAT prep class if u can/havent, u need to raise that sat score hopefully 100-200. after SAT prep, my score went from a 1720 to a 1920, only took the SATs twice. if u cant, then buy an SAT prep book and go through it. SAT scores are key... along with gpa and a heavy honors/ap course load

2) take the sats as many times as u can

3) apply to state as EARLY as you can, it will better your chances tremendously and will probably make/break your getting in.

4) write some **** good essays...

ur gpa is great though, so keep that up and try to raise ur SAT scores!!!

if u cant get into state, check out unc charlotte. i went there for 2 years, and while i didnt like it a TON, it was alright, its the second best engr school in the state, and the program isnt TOO difficult as long as u put forth the effort. im actually transferring to state spring semester '09.

and just an fyi, i did get into state, but i didnt like the campus a whole lot so i chose charlotte, and then some shit 'came up' so i left.
