just an fyi, ur good to go for at least 1 of the 2 schools, so dont worry too much

unc charlotte is easy as **** to get into, and if it comes down to it, u can go there for a year or two, MAKE GOOD GRADES (at least a 3.2 i believe is the requirement for transfer, maybe a 3.4) and then transfer to state

oh and one more piece of advice

my high school sat prep professor told me that you coudl apply to state majoring in 'textiles' -- which is about the easiest school at state to get into, and then change ur major once you are in, which is completely acceptable

one of the dumbest girls i ever knew got into state that way

Funny thing is, as badly as it was put in this post, most schools do have lower standards for minorities so that the school is more "diverse."

Just a few years ago, the University of Michigan was getting some heat for their point system and unfairly letting in minorities. I am always serious. If people would take my advice the world would run a lot more smoothly.

They aren't lowering their standards because the minority is dumber and they have to, it is SOLELY because they want to 'even up' the racial differences. It only has to do with who is in the majority, and who is in the minority.

I am actually looking into applying at NC A&T for a minority scholarship (90-95% of the school is african-american). My friend got one and he got a full ride for engineering in the 3rd best school in the state. And it wasn't because he was 'intellectually inferior'.
