So I just bought an 74 Corvette, and I need to throw a good system in the car. Starting off, I know very little about car audio. But I want to put a system in (I won't be doing the installation) and I wanted to do it right.
Here's what I came up with:
After market In dash Nav
A pair of 4" 3-ways for the front of the car
A pair of 6 1/2" 3-ways for the back with a 10" sub in an enclosure (Can I even put a pair of 6 1/2" 3 way speakers and a sub in the same enclosure?)
The space i'm working with in the rear is 13" Width X 13" Height X 33" Length, so A 12" sub is out of the question.
I guess what I was wondering was: How big (and/or how many) amps do I need to make this happen?
Is this a bad setup?
Suggestions?
Just trying to get my car road ready for the spring/summer!
Thanks in advance for your input!
