When you're talking about the APSM, not really. Thing won't make rated power anyway.

OP, if you want to save a few bucks, look at the APSM1300 instead ($106 vice 120). Either way, better to have more power than needed. You won't have to upgrade when the funding comes along for a better, more powerful sub.

250$ for just the substage can yield some pretty good results, but you'll have to buy used, period.

Sell what you have now on craigslist for like $100 and then you have $350 to spend and you can get a pretty decent setup

The DD would be good, but I personally would not go the Pioneer route.

I think the DD pair is honestly way more then I will ever need.. so ithink I may just get a nice amp and go with the Pioneer premier pair they are already boxed

I can get the DD 9912s for 250 for the pair in a box, and for the pioneer premiers I can get for 200 in the box
