Hey guys well I have 250 $$ and my friend is offering me the

Infinity Reference 1220de Dual 12" Preloaded with a Power Acoustik Ovn2-1800 amp and a Planet Audio PC10F 10 farad cap. Its all for 250 which is all I can spend.. What do you guys think? its all about half a year old..

but right now I have a boxed 12 inch audiobahn 1200q with a concept 600 wat amp. with a 1 farad cap. I might just up grade the amp to a 1200.

out of the two options what do you guys think I should do. and what do you guys think of option one?

system 1 is all crap ,wouldn't spend my money on it ,the amp puts out about as much as what you have now ,both subs are about equal ,no use for a cap as they aren't worth using anyway .you can do better for 250 if your patient and look in the classified section

just get a better amp ,and maybe build a custom box

man im sorry I really only have 250. Could anybody point me in the right direction? I want to spend 250 for both, they don't have to be pronominal i just want something better then mine, and you guys know your stuff. And am I in the wrong forum for these questions?

250 wont get a sub and amp thats good quality .you could get a audiopipe amp for about 100-150 but then 100 for a sub that will take the power of the amp will be hard to find

Imo, with that budget get an aq sdc 2.5 12 and an audiopipe apsm 1500, comes up to about 240, won't be the.best but prolly the best you could do for 250, some more and get a box built for it later on. However if you are using the same box you are using now you probably won't hear that big of a difference.

I'd say stick with the APSM1500 ($120) and go with either a SSA DCON (137.50), Dayton HO 12 DVC (139), or Image Dynamics ID12 ($160). It will stretch your dollar juts a hair over 250 unless you can find this stuff used, but it will definitely be worth it. Just be conservative with setting the gains and you should be fine.
