well the way i see it is...i want the best. i dont care what it takes, i want it. also, i love german engineering. i love bmw, audi, vw, mbq, jl, anything. he he. well, i really just love the stuff cause its of good quality not cause its german engineering. but being german makes me want german engineering. anyways, i can get the sub and amp cheap. i believe we agreed on $1100 total for BNIB 13w7 w/warranty and BNIB 1000/1 w/warranty. Of course, if i find it here, ill most likely get it here (stuff's always cheap here).

I personally wouldn't go for that deal even if I had the money. Yes, JL products are nice and perform very well but I just don't feel comfortable dropping that kind of money on something like that. There are many other subwoofers that have been compared to the W7 in terms of both output and sound quality. Output is obviously not as subjective because it can actually be metered but sound quality varies from person to person. I may absolutely love the sound of a W7 but you may think it sounds like garbage. That's just the way car audio works. Before jumping on the JL deal, I would do some serious looking in to the other brands available such as Ascendant Audio, Adire, RE, Soundsplinter, Oz Audio, Image Dynamics, Diamond, ect. I believe you can find what you're looking for in those companies and save yourself a lot of money by doing so. Now if you do your research and decide that you still want to stick with the W7 and 1000/1, more power to you. They're both great products and should perform very well.
