The 13W7 is the top SQL driver... only the XXX can match its xmax figure of 32mm... although the XXX is still beat because the 13W7 was dumaxed at 34mm... its the best of the best regardless of price. There is no "best" for anything. SQ is completely objective. Is the W7 up there in terms of SQ/SQL? Sure. I can't argue with that. But the best...

I think squeak already covered a similar response like yours. Maybe its not the best to everyone's ear, but the 13W7 IS the best at putting out the most clean bass. You may not like it as much as other subs, but it has the most linear excursion over anything in the market.

Not only does it have the most linear excursion, it has a super suspension, super cooling, and many other extras that smaller companies just wouldn't even have the funds to design.

So to sum it up, you may not like it the most... but if you actually test whats being produced from all the subs out there, the 13W7 will be the MOST accurate... so in terms of being the most sonically accurate out there (SQL)... it IS the BEST.

I never even said that I like the sound of the 13W7... I said that its the most sonically accurate... If you tested the W7 against other drivers each in their appropriate sealed box with a device that can show you the frequency response, the W7's graph would be the flattest and most accurate. I will stand behind that statement. I never said it would be best to your ears or anyone elses.

i have two 13.5 w7s in the car and i have to say i am more then happy with them... i onmly had the kicker L7 before those to compare so i cant say they are better or worse then X brand...
