what do you prefer?

I am getting ready to build another box doing some fiberglass work to it. The box will be my 3rd attempt at fiberglassing and i was wondering how others attempt theirs. I am looking to do like a 3/4 box build out of mdf and then 1/4 of it glassed work. i will be doing the typical pull the fabric over the skeleton etc but instead of laying the layers of matte and glass on the outside i will be doing it from the inside. the only layers on the outside will be around the amp rack corners and the speaker ring corners....the rest of the build up will be done inside of the box.

with that said what do you guys prefer doing? build layers up on the inside or outside?

If possible I build up thickness from the inside.

yeah i have done one box by glassing from the inside and it is so much easier when it comes to smoothing the outside. less body work involved which is nice. definitely doing my new box from the inside so i can finish it up in a decent amount of time.
