What do you like or dislike about jl amps

What do you guys think of the quality of jl audio amps? Likes and dislikes? I have a jl 500/5 (100rms ch1&2 & 25rms ch3&4 5th is 250 mono rms at all impedances 1.5-4) and I also have a jl e4300 (45rms x 4 at 4 ohm/ 75rms x 4 at 2 ohm)Im thinking of running the 500/5 to my bravox cf components and the rear channels to the rear coaxials. Any input would be good as I am thinking of using these amps as they are laying around. thanks

I have the amps, Im trying to decide whether to sell them for a better amp or just use what i got. If I use the 500/5 I might run the front comps active.

I'd assume they'd still stick to the $1/1W ratio, so it'd be close to $3k.

never heard their amps, but i have owned quite a bit of their subs.

they are some of the best subs ive heard, but wayyyy overpriced(even on craigslist)
