what do you all think

Midbass is pretty directional and often in stereo. How do you plan on mounting the midbass drivers to make this a non-issue?

Also, just because it's an 8" driver does not mean that it will perform well in a midbass application. I would be willing to bet that they won't sound the best trying to play from ~60-500hz. If you want to run a dedicated midbass, you should find a midbass driver and not a subwoofer.

are u just using the HE2 8's because you have them laying around? I'd say look for some nice 8" mids on partsexpress instead of forcing subs to do midbass duty. Also why do you want upgraded midbass anyway? you're running a comp set that should provide plenty of midbass

well i plan on using a crossover and the amp filter thing...will that help...oh the re se and the rf will be powered by different amps
You didn't address the issues I mentioned. The crossover and separate amps is a must and assumed. How do you plan on mounting the 8s and why are you trying to use subs to play midbass? Is it because they're just sitting around? Would you expect the RF HE2 15" subs to play midbass well? If not, why do you expect the 8s to be better?
