Not too shabby. I believe their higher end is overpriced IMO. Had the Q series and they were nice, but found cheaper sets later in life that souded just as good for a lot less money.
tweeters are very loud and need to be mounted off axis and low. woofers need lots of solid support to produce good midbass. I would never buy them again. I saw hifonics on the label and new I made a mistake. If you can pick a set up used that never got abused go for it but do not skimp on rings deadener or rings.
i have mb quart and they are not bad but i also have power bass and they arnt bad either and the power bass sounds cleaner at higher volumes then the mb quart
I had the premiums which are the second highest. I got them for 200+shipping which I was very pleased with the performance for the money. The tweeter isnt harsh though its bright...
I have a pre-maxxsonics era set and they have been pretty good IMO. I have had them in my car since about late 99 early 2000. Took them out a couple months ago to clean them up a little and they still work great.
If you like the MB Quarts' prior to Maxxsonics ownership, then you will enjoy Bravox Audio as they were the build house for alot of the MB Quart lines prior to the Maxxsonics purchase.
