What do these settings mean on my amplifier?

LPF frequency(hz) it goes from 50- 200...now set @ 200

Input sensitivity it goes from 5-0.2...now set @ 1

Phase 0degrees & 180 degrees...now set @ 0degrees

ISF it has OFF-15hz-25hz...now set @ 15hz

And whats the difference between Line in & Line out...can't i use either one for signal?

LPF-low pass frequency: Anything that is over 200hz gets filtered out

Input sensitivity: this is your gain, it's to match the RCA outs of your headunit

Phase: worry about it if you have subs firing into each other, it's to help with cancellation

ISF: no idea what that is

Line in and Line out: In means the signal from your headunit into your amp, out means the signal from the amp out to another source

Assuming this is for a sub.

-Set LPF to 85ish(this controls what frequencies can make it to the sub. In this case, everything under 85hz. You don't want your sub playing higher frequencies)

-Input sensitivity is your gain know. Search on here for how to properly set it, it's different for every one depending on equipment.

-Phase- leave it where it is.

-ISF is your subsonic filter. If the sub is in a sealed box, you're likely safe keeping it at zero. If the sub is in a ported box, set it to 25 assuming those are the only setting you have available. Frequencies above this number will reach the sub. This essentially keeps the sub controlled. (A lot more to it but just an idea for now)

-Line in and line out are pretty self-explanetory. Use the line in (into the amplifier) to get signal to the amp. You would use line out in order to run RCAs to a second amp.

Wow, I'm a slow typer lol. Looks like you have the info twice now.

So in regards to setting the gain i have two different HU that i could use

specification are

1st HU •3 Sets of 4V preamp outputs (front, rear, and subwoofer)

2nd HU •1 Set of 2V preamp outputs (rear)

So does this mean that on my ampliifier 'INPUT SENSITIVITY(V)' setting, if i were to use the 1st HU then i would simply set it @ 4 instead of 1...and for the 2nd HU set it @ 2 instead of 1?

In theory yes, but you'll find that you'll probably be off on what the amps marking is. Also, just because your HU "claims" to have 4v outputs, it might not.

Phase: Contrary to what dragnix said, it's to reverse the phase of how the sub/s play. It's a tuning tool used to help your bass imaging. It's easier to flip a switch to reverse the phase (which is what 180 is) then it would be to take the sub/s out of the box and flip the wires.

subsonic .....cuts out the lower frequencies which are not audible to the human ear, but your sub will still try & reproduce them causing it to bottom out....

its like a HPF for the LPF ....

so i got told....lol;)
