What do Ohms mean

http://www.bcae1.com

An Ohm is simply a measure of resistance or impedance. The concept of resistance is a simple one - how much "loss" there is in a conductor. Impedance is a little trickier to understand, but it's only used for circuits in which you have an AC signal.

Just a little random fact, the unit for conductance is called the "mho"...ohms backwards //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
