What do I need for......??

Sound is distorting & I have 2 MTX 12' T6124A SUBS AND A MTX 2 CHANNEL AMP THUNDER

3202. ITS PROBABLY A SIMPLE QUESTION BUT WHEN THE VOLUME GOES UP TO ABOUT 31

OUT OF 50 IT DISTORSTS. NOW I HAVE THE BASS TO 0 & I HAVE THE TREBLE TO +6 AND FAD & BAL ARE BOTH ZERO. IM NOT SURE WHAT THE AMP SETTINGS ARE CUZ THE CC GUY JUST PUT IT IN & I NEED TO KNOW WHAT SHOULD MY SETTINGS BE FOR THE AMP SO I CAN CUT OUT DISTORTION. OR IS IT I NEED A MORE POWERFUL AMP OR WHAT??

Check the gains on the amp. They should never be over 3/4 of the way up. Turn the gain all the way down and you stereo to about 2/3 of the way up. Turn up the gain until it starts to distort then back a hair.
