What do FI BTL N2 18's like for enclosures?

I have a Fi bTL N2 18" Fully loaded I run off a Crescendo 2k. My current box is 30hz @ 6.7ft^3 with like 14-15 inches of port per ft^3.

I have Kangaroux making me a new box aka Jesse Roux and I want it daily with low ground pounding bass. He says the difference between 30-32 is barely noticable and that my subwoofer would probably work better at 32-33hz with my vehicle (02 trailblazer LT) So I was thinking 7ft^3 @ 32hz with 15-16 inches of port.

Does this sound like a good design or should I reduce my port area/ft^3? I smash lows right now but I feel like I can get slightly more with a bigger/stronger and higher tuned box. Not looking for SPL numbers or anything just some nasty daily lows.

Why would you tune higher if you want to play lower? Also that might be a little big on port area if you ever throw real power at that sub.
Do a 4th order...
Not enough room/money for a fourth order and I tuned higher to hit more of a equilibrium plus higher is closer to the vehicles peak, the low end won't change much from 30-32hz that's what I'm hearing its actually not even noticable. I've heard port area plays one of the bigger roles in low end bass so I figured a 15-16" port would be good.'

Also on the Dual 2 ohm BTL N2 18" the Fs is like 33.5 so I figured the closer I tuned to that number the better the subwoofer would perform, but I could be wrong.
