what distribution block to use?

ok this is a newb question, but i need some help. i'm running 1/0 to my sub amp and i'm going to be running 8 gauge to my component amp. so would that mean i need a distribution block that has 1/0 and 8 gauge inputs and 1/0 and 8 gauge outputs? if so, then that's a weird combo and i haven't been able to find any like that.

I know my Kicker distro has that ability they use "sleeves" in the block to neck down for the smaller gauge.

You don't need a distro block if you are going to be doing both a 1/0 run and an 8 gauge run. A distro block is to take one large power wire and split it up to multiple amps.

Run 1/0 ga. from batter to distro. and then a 4 ga. to each amp. That sub amp is fine with 4 ga. power.

So get a distro. block with 1/0 input and two 4 ga. output

I thought you already had all the cables...take his advice. 1/0 to the trunk to a FUSED distro block. Two 4 gauge (or a 1/0 gauge and a 4 gauge) to the amps. The 4 gauge cables have to be fused on the distro block because they are smaller than the 1/0 gauge and have no fuse small enough to protect them.

yeah and use 125 amp fuses at the fused distro. block for the 4 ga. wires

let me get this straight, i need a distro with ONE 1/0 input and two 4 gauge outputs? wouldn't 4 gauge be too big for the 150 watt 2 channel amp or is that ideal? also, what about the grounds? need a distro for them to or no?
