started my career automotive painter for the North American Internation Auto Show in Detroit. 85+ hours a week FTW

putting a new system in my new car soon now that i'm working 60+

i got my first system about 20 years ago when i was 17. i walked into a shop saw what they were doing and was hooked. i told the guy i wanted to learn and he handed me a pair of wire strippers and put me to work. i helped him out for a several weeks and then got a real job there. its was all down hill from there. every second i had was spent in that shop ******* up all the free education i could. then when i was 25 i droped out of it all together and came back to it about a month ago. WOW stuff sure has changed. lucky for me the install part has harldy changed at all. new tricks and tips but the basics remained unchanged.

this hopbby seems like it will always **** me back in. the nice part is as you get older you can at last just buy what ever it is you want.

I bought my first CD player from fingerhut. It was the din 1/2 they have in the crutchfield magazine. Then I bought 2 SPL2000 12s because of a good deal and I bought a memphis MK1997. That was the same day I learned about "ohms" and how you can't wire a 2-ohm amp (of that quality) below 2 ohms. I upgraded slowly but still have everything I ever had, except the 2 subs I fired the voice coils.

I sold this for my first system.

PG 12, PG 250w amp, Probox wedge Truck box

I worked as a rental agent at AVIS for 2 years. Saved up enuf money to buy a very nice sysytem then my car got stolen. Every 6 months we had a lottery for unclaimed items that people left in the cars, ipods, laptops, cameras, phones, glasses, gameboys. Im a lucky man and would win alot of stuff and then pawn it. Im on my 4th system right now. Id prolly have my dream sysytem right now but i've spent too much money on my other hobby which is collecting guns.
