i never play it that loud. i actually turned the sublevel off and have been listening to my comps instead the past few days. i turned it up so there is no mistaking that something is DEF wrong.

Hmmm I built a ported box for 2 of the 8's and those suckers were louder than my 12" Hx2.

Would you consider porting them???

No, and if you did port them low. I would most certainly say, you would be very pleased.

Yes, there is certainly a major issue here. Those RL-i's should be signifigantly better then your fosgates and the video doesnt look too good niether.

First you say they ****, then they sound just as good, then they are just as loud, but lower, now it sounds like crap. Add all that up and the fact that you gave them more than double their RMS and I say you screwed yourself. You just publicly told everyone you overpowered them so I wouldn't expect Mike or TC to be of any help to you. Doesn't help with your screenname being destruction either.

i said they sounded great at low volumes. like when i watch movies. i never said they were louder than the fosgates. not even close.

i gave them 300 a piece the entire time i had them( aweek maybe). this is the falling apart i was talking about. i gave it 600-750 for less than 20 secs so you could see for yourself.

i free aired one of the old fosgates with 350rms for over a minute and it went with it. i am sure a rli can hang for a few seconds of bass.
