What Components Will Handle This amp??

All components will handle that amp, or any other, as long as you set your gains properly.

True, but it would be a waste to use that amp on almost any component set. You'd need a set that can handle 300w RMS and I don't know where you'd find one.

Getting a component set that handles that power but one that he hates tonally, or finding a set that may only handle 150W yet he loves the sound of? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif In the latter case, they'd be plenty of headroom, wouldn't have to worry about the amp ever nearing the clipping threshold...

Buy a set because you like how they sound, not their power ratings. That being said, the Boston Acoustics Z6's will eat up that power daily.

I'd go with some 8" woofers that handle that amp, then get another smaller amp more suited for components. Build yourself a nice little 3-way set.

Z6's sound nice and have been known to have high power handling.

Z6 will take that all day everyday no sweat. The only CDT I would recommend would be the HD62 with the M6 midbass upgrade. I have thrown 280watts to them no problem, but that is properly set up.
