What class 4 me to enter?

Hey all. I have been out of the competition scene for a long time. Last contest was in the early 90's. LOL Back then the classes and local shows were simple. Now that I read some sites with rules I see things are more complicated. FIRST, I am not planning on winning any class. Rather, just go to a couple and have a little fun before I finally go deaf (been comin for years). I have my old Supra still that did mid 140's back then. It is currently torn apart. I will soon have it together with a pretty strong system.

But, for now I installed a quick system in my beater SUV. Most of it was just laying around and I got bored the other day and installed a system. Here's a list of the crap:

Alpine 7977 HU

Old DEI running mostly stock speakers

2 Crunch 1000 watt max amps

2 Hifonics Titan subs Dual 2 ohms

2gauge wire and one extra battery in back

Modded 180 amp alt.

Custom dual 15 box (forgot specs, been years)

Ok, haven't put a meter on it yet, but I am guessing mid 140's.

Someone on here notified me about a contest near Chatt., TN in March and I would like to make it.

Do I need to change anything? What class do you guys suggest for me to enter? Don't want to get in the wrong one with others blowing me out!!

Depends on what orginization you want to compete in. They're regulated by number and size of woofers and number of amps. For 2 15"s, which it seems thats what your running, you'd be in Street C for dB Drag...

sounds like street c to me, the first thing you need to do is get rid of those amps

You guys are quick! I know the amps ****, but this car sucks too. I have had equip. stolen 2 times in my dd's back years ago. So, I used my cheap crap in this one.

I have a good collection of old school powerhouses that will go into the Supra. They are current hogs and will be hard to feed, but I am attached to them.
