What car should I get?

my vote is a 240, ive owned a few new gts and a few 5.0s so dont say cause its a 5.0 its fast

a 240sx is nice. My buddy has one, its a good car... the backseat sucks, the seats at the top piss me off cuz they arc forward, and it isnt fast,parts for it are 2x the cost of my parts, and they dont gain as much HP as we'd like to see. I mean I was,at one point going to get one, but now that I look back on it, Im very glad I didnt get one. Theyre fun to drive, fun to play in the rain with, but having 2 siblings, and always taking your friends places, just doesnt make it a realistic car to own.

Its a good car, but for the money, I'd take a nice foxbody anyday, and thats coming from a GN owner,who hates ford.

5.0 modding>240sx modding.

Dont EVEN try to throw in getting a SR20, because they won't pass smog LEGALLY. Unless you got a hookup and can get it smogged the rest of your life, you are limited to about 185-190 N/A HP, and about 250-300 turbo'd HP, unless of course you sink some cash into building your bottom end.

Basically, you cant beat a 5.0 in modding, its like fukin 600$ for new heads or something like that, and like 3k for a blower thatll give you 450hp..NO way are you beatin that w/ some 4 cyl.period.

about the mustang, does it snow where you live? if so forget about the mustang they are probaly the worst car ive ever been in during a snow storm.

seen u live in florida, but still dont know if it ever snows in parts of it..it might i dont know?

Have you consiered a 94-95 Dodge Stealth RT/Twin Turbo, I think it's got about 300-350 HP stock. The only thing I don't like about the car is the stupid rounded spoiler, which can be removed. I like it because it's something different from everybody else. I've looked around at local classifieds and have seen them between 10-15k and if I'm not mistaken they are hatchbacks as well (or at least the 91'ish models were).

90 - 91 Mazda Rx7 turbo II. You can get a very very nice one, already modded and tuned for 10k. It will outhandle anything listed above hands down. Actually, it will outhandle anything period hands down with just a few suspension mods.

Yea true. The FD RX7's will pretty much outhandle everything listed so far.

My buddy is just about to grab one up, he loves them. Most are about 300+hp and have suspension mods done to them for 10k.

Fd's are not for daily driving. Not at all. They are way too problematic. and you won't find a tuned modded one for 10k. the ones you find for 10k are stock, and not in great shape. a stock one in good shape will go for 12-13.

The 89-91 models are the best to go with. For 10k, if your lucky and find one, you gould get a vert like mine, but with the turbo motor dropped in.... That is a sweet car.
