What CAR SHOULD I GET???

Not true, the new Maxima has a JATCO CVT, which is a Sportronic/DSG/Tiptronic type of thing; You can feel it kick for sure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
What about that commercial where the guy is driving while his wife puts on lipstick and he is speeding up but his RPM stays the same the whole time...I thought there was no transision. Interesting....I must read more

My first car had ****ed near a quarter million miles on it when the heater core exploded on my leg while I was driving. Then I sold it, and the transmission went out. It had no interior, no doorcards, no healdiner, and rang like a bell when it rained, or my (lol at this) rf punch twelves in a sealed box with a tiny purple pyramid amp and dual headunit played.

Get something shitty, dude - it builds character.

Right - that's the basic idea, but it is sequentially shiftable.

So if you really stomp on the gas, or use the paddles, your RPM is gonna act much like downshifting a standard or kicking-down an auto.

Not completly true, I've got a Murano with the CVT system....like the Maxima, when you have to stomp on the gas it doesn't jump like a normal vehicle would and you don't feel it shifting through the gears....its smooth. Its shiftable like the maxima but you still don't feel the shifting. I can just about redline in second and shift into 3rd and not feel anything.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My first car was an 82 dodge aries, talk about a metal box. I rear ended a truck and there was no damage to the dodge, but it sure did mess up the truck. Took about 10 minutes to get up to 65mph though:laugh:

get a van. people may call you a soccer mom, but you've got a hell of a lot of room for a system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
and kids with their soccer balls and cleats.

lmao, but dont get a 350z yet. at least wait a few years, and yes the insurance will **** you, even if you're put on it part time. i was full time on a 92 buick and part time on a new rx-8, and my insurance was almost $200 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
